3. Credit Card: If there is only a thin layer of ice or snow and if you do not have a car scraper you can always use the edge of your credit card to take off the snow and ice. However, this does not work on a thick layer.

5. Saltwater: Here is another effective way to get rid of ice and snow from your car. Make sure you use this only if you have no other option left. Mix up 1tbsp of salt with two cups of warm water on your windshield. Remove excess level snow or ice from your windshield before you spray the solution.
